As proven by the lack of BX on my fleet, the days of running them cheaply as daily transport are long gone. In fact, it's getting to the stage that unless you're really handy with a welder, it's just not really an option - which is a crying shame. That's why I now own a little Daihatsu Sirion which will probably be scrapped when I'm finished with it. I'd like to get to the stage that I can have a BX again though, but I would want to get it off the road during the winter and undercover when not being used. I hope I can manage this before I can't afford a BX!
