Ah well, shame. Someone's bound to want the interior. Surely there's one white panels around though ?

This car sounds similar to the Blackpool one I took on last summer. The price of that car was not high, partly because it was not going to be broken perhaps, but as soon as you have a list of things needed it overtakes the value of the car in money saved on parts. I have this occurring on the worst TZD which is becoming a donor to the other 6 cars. It would not pay to sell it with the daft faults built into it, which need sorting for the road.
So one way to rescue this car is supply the spares list required from lesser donor cars already dead.

Failing that I have need of a sunroof assembly as the carriage on Miguel is rusted due to the salty atmosphere in Blackpool. A difficult job to fix I fear, with interior needing moving. Also my air filter lid is broken and the induction trunking missing.

I have had several PMs regarding parts (front seats, interior lights, sunroof, sunroof deflector, wheels, etc) so hopefully the TRS will live on in spirit.

If someone wants to swap it for a white (or other colour) BX in equally good condition then I'm open to offers.

Is the engine available? Obviously read your comments about keeping it mobile, so maybe its not, but worth an ask :-)

Engine and box plus in manifold, carb, ex manifold, exhaust etc will all be available soon (about Feb 22nd).

Front and rear seats + parcel shelf + boot light have gone to James Carruthers (don't know what the "club" fund situation is but have asked JC to make a small donation as part of our deal).

Have updated list.

Tim. Will all the other bits of trim be ok for Neil?

Bryn. Are you still after interior lights? Take it these are the ones on the B pillar.

Threadbare. Air filter box is round with plastic trunk to carb. Is this what you are after plus grey trunking with series of holes?

Yes indeed. I am not sure what befell mine but it is mostly duct tape.

With the sunroof the bit I need is the carriage it runs on. I can always take the lot and pass the remaining parts onto anyone needing another element of the assembly. Presumably there is going to be some kind of logistical tie up to distribute this stuff as I am a bit of a distance from sunny Scotland, which I think I saw you were.

Its a job to know if I should ask for anything else as I have not gone through my car properly. It seems in pretty good shape. Possibly wheel trims but I do not know what is meant to have on it!

Would the radiator to engine pipes be the same as the 14E Mk2 I have. These are needing replacement. With which I can find out how the car runs and where its LHM issue is. Again I do not think it is far from an MOT and someone is more likely to love it as a running car than a growler. Even myself!

Neil is in Scotland, I'm near Gatwick. What are you doing on Saturday 15th Feb? I could bring the bits and meet you on the Marlborough Road at Chiseldon.

PS Apologies I keep calling you Threadbare.

Thank you Gary. Nice to meet you mate, and thanks for being understanding!! I'll get the missing fiver donated once I've got all my bank cards back.

I'd be interested in all 4 seatbelts and rear buckles if your other interested party doesn't want them. I'll be able to send money to your account by next week I'd have thought.

Nothing I can think of that is interesting. That is a most convenient spot from my point of view. Still a long way from Gatwick and environs. I will make required money agreements by PM, I guess.

Name is my idea of a joke so it works OK, besides, if your helping me you can call me what you like, within reason :D !

Hi Gary,
Do you have the engine code for that 16? I could be interested - is it the 92/94 HP one used through to 1992/3 ? .. I might be able to use it in my 16TZS

I'm over in the UK at some point suring the week of 24th Feb

Cheers
