Need to shift some of the bits to make some space. I have a pile of stuff to throw away so unless anyone wants any of the following they are off to the tip Monday -

Spare wheel carrier and clamp bolt thingy

Door glass x 4

Window mechanisms

Window motors

Bonnet stay

Under bonnet insulation

Washer bottle n/s

Washer bottle o/s

Heater unit plus controls

Dash vents

Dash flip out trays

Dash tray (where the clock sits)

Blaupunkt cassette/radio

Steering column trim

Glove box

and probably many other parts.

If a part you want is not listed please ask.

Is the door glass tinted? If not, I'm interested.

It looks plain clear glass to me.

Does anyone know if the window support rails are the same on manual winder glass and motored glass? Guess window mechs are different to include a fixing point for the motor.

Couple more big bits not listed to go are the under wing plastic arch pieces. Any takers?

Hi Gary, i think i may need the plastic under wing arch pieces, are they in good nick, i'll need them for the valver, i assume that they will be ok?

Appear in excellent condition. Assume all mk 2 BXs are the same in the under wing department.

From what I have seen all the rails are the same, regardless of what winder mechanism they use.

OT. Do you guys get together for meetings or do any of you travel about the country? Can see that it could be bit of a headache moving parts about specially when the courier cost could outweigh the value of some of the parts.

Due to interest in parts they have survived another week but many must go either to a good home or the tip after the weekend.

Of course with so many bits and pieces I had totally forgotten the wheels - now no longer required. 5 x steelies with Michelin MX 145/14 tyres (4-5mm depth) plus trims (number 6 on the pic that keeps popping up) also jack as found in spare wheel. Open to offers.

James - still looking for a big strong box.

If not spoken for yet, I could be interested in the trims - not exactly what I'm after, but a bit of black paint would sort that out for me.

I could use the wheels, but only if its convenient to logistics of bits and bods. Not urgent either.
