If you go for a MAF, be wary of the cheap ones. Sometimes you get lucky, but on ours the cheapo one lasted a year. Found a VDO one for about £60 and it drove so much better with that on!

Got a genuine one, made no difference! Better without the brake binding mind!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Have you checked the thermostat? mine wasn't working very well & the engine wasn't at the correct temperature which meant powah was down a bit along with fuel economy.

replaced it ages back. It was fubar when I got the car, it now gets lovely and warm, but still lunches fuel. It's a heavy car with a sluch box, I'll live with it

Failed its Mot on front numberplate, replacement sorted for £12.50 & now passed. One advisory on a corroded rear brake pipe. Mileage approx 137k, i'll double check.

MY front number plate is knackered too.. must be a C5 thing!

Car needs a service & the coolant temp warning light is coming on more regularly than normal. Coolant level looks fine, so hopefully just a duff sensor, hoping to drop the car off at Barry's this weekend & pick up the valver in time for the Wetherby meet, if not i'll be attending in the C5 spaceship again.

A trip to Barry's a while ago now, has meant an oil change sorted, banging sound at the back was a rear arm bearing, thats been sorted & no more clonking or banging :) Coolant sensor replaced, however the rubbish design meant that the plastic housing its in broke, so a 2nd hand replacement was fitted, no more coolant warning lights on.
