Bought the car for almost a year ago now. It had only been used for sunday driving for an older man. When i bought it, it had rollet 115.000km.

I use it as daily driver, and a track car. Her is a movie from the track day :D

What were we saying about Oilers in Gti? This from a Country that has a more enlighten policy on using oil revenue than we do. Though free oil sounds really rather good. The only thing we are likely to get free from our oil revenue is some immigrant to be paid by us to walk in front of our cars with a red flag as a welfare policy. Mind you if you had a few quid you could harness eight up and get free motive force by dangling a Kalashnikov in front of them.

What i mean about free diesel, Is that the local elektric company use a "special oil" to flush the electric transformators. When they have flushed them they need to pay to trow it away. Then i take them and they dont need to pay for it. It be like a win win :D

How is it on power when it's hot with the lack of intercooler?

And (of course) Why no intercooler? ;)
I have zero patience for your tedium.

Good spot bud, no intercooler. Without it ime sure it will shorten the life of the engine?

Is it possibly a peugeot non intercooler engine rather than the BX turbo engine? They only produced about 80bhp from memory?

The engine is from my old Bx. I was rear ended by a suv. The engine should produce around 100 hp. The is no problem with heat of the lacking intercooler. It's very quick at the bottom end, about 2000 I have full boost, that's one benefits of not having intercooler. The diesel pump is Bosch, so theres no problem adjusting the dieselpressure and the boost. On full boost is about 1.3-1.4 bar. It's very responsive at low rpms. The engines life will not be shortned with no intercooler

Here are some pictures of my old Bx 84 Diesel.

Ah, Transformer oil. Indeed a great resource, if available. I know a guy who made a lot of money out of that. Is the oil you get slightly lighter than standard Diesel? I am thinking of Norway winters and oil waxing.

Nasty mess of one of my favoured colours of car, with yellow headlights too, as mentioned. :-({|=

I didn't have a scratch on me. The back of seat braked when he hit me. So the seat took all the shock from the impackt. If you look at the one picture with the seat, it almost lays in the back seat.

The oil is very thick, i have used petrol and parafin to get it a little bit thinner. But i need to change diesel filter often :/ It is hard to get to start when it cold outside, the oil gets thicker and thicker as it gets colder.

I have a spare pair of Morrete lights left, got two kits when i bought the Diesel Bx :)
