I'll contact the museum and enquire about the parking arrangements. I know they allow car clubs to park in front of the museum.

Sorry Kitch I forgot to chase it up. I'll give Coventry a ring this next week and post up on here.

Not sure, something big. I was doing 7000rpm or so at the time

I'll fix it next year or something. Got plenty of other stuff to be doing first.

If there is a demand for a meet in the 'South' one can be organised along the A34 corridor, perhaps. I am not best placed to do this since I have yet to return a BX to the road what with all the other things to be done.

One option in the colder months is to nominate The Living Rainforest, about 5 miles out of Newbury, as a Sunday meet. That is 'cos its pigging hot in there! We are not quite at that point of the year.

Coming up is 5th of October. The 4X4 Land Rover autojumble at Newbury Show ground? Vehicular crap to look at. Burned meat to eat. Trouble is it is £6.50 to get in, a lot if your not into 4x4. But it is a place to meet up.

I've been in touch with Coventry Transport Museum. There's a Mini club rally on the 5th October, not sure if anyone would like to attend at the same time - I can't see why not - but the museum would like an approximation of likely attendance numbers. Hands up folks. :)

Aaaaaaarghhhhh! No, no. Not the new ones, please! Coventry probably better than looking at 4X4 bits at short notice.

6 November, if that is the Sunday, Worminghall (That is sort of Oxford and to the East a bit). This is what used to be twice yearly Enstone Autojumble. There is an Autojumble bring and buy sale at Oakley Airfield. Used to be £2 to get in. So a brisk walk in the morning looking at crap and a pub lunch nearby in Brill or Marsh Gibbon (sorry, I just wanted to write that great village name) somewhere. Not sure on pitch price, but its cheap - car boot rules really. Could get some junk sold while socializing. Bound to be chainsaws there for the BXZZZZZZ Club.
