Re: Ian's BX 16TGS
Found the hand winder for the sun roof. It fell into the consol around the handbrake. Tried to get it out with a magnet. Its now gone under the hand brake. I now have to take out the console. At least I can take out the pound coin that has been lying in there since I’ve had the car.

Ahh, beat you there I got £1.27 and €1, a paper clip, a fruit pastel, a dead 10amp fuse and a comb from under my console.

Ah! But I haven’t taken out my console yet, so I don’t know what else I’ll find.

Rutter123, you win. I found £1.01, some sweet wrappers and a drawing pin.

Re: Ian's BX 16TGS
I have since removed the complete interior and can add more to my tally, lurking under the front seats, 2 McDonalds sugar packets contents intact, a lighter, a pass for a campsite in Bere Regis dated Sep 2006, 2 of the plastic caps that hold the side panels in the boot and a further 16p in coppers, nothing under the back seat.

Re: Ian's BX 16TGS
Car now has T&T. Still requires a bit of welding at the bottom of the B post, and the I’ll have to have look why the fog lights aren’t working at the rear. Switch illuminates, but no lights. It needs a good clean and polish. Oh and drive it

Re: Ian's BX 16TGS
First time I’ve been under the car since it came back from Robs. Trying to locate a cracking sound and a rattle. The rattle appears to be the centre box of the exhaust collapsing. The cracking sound I cannot replicate, it seems to come from the suspension when it raises and lowers. It might be from the swing arm bearing, but I’m open to any suggestions. Getting it prepared for a trip to Scotland at the end month.

Re: Ian's BX 16TGS
Hi Ian
Yes the crack is normally the arm bearings, I would get the replaced ASAP!

Hi Tim,
Thought it might be. Plans may have to change for the car and life. Just found out we’re to be made redundant. It’s voluntary at the moment. Looking to reduce the staffing levels by half this year, and we’re pretty sure the whole department will be closed in 2020.
