Its a lovely colour, the light blue was always very popular, Romantic Blue before hand and Olympic and Ice blue which followed it.

It's magnetic blue, that's what the colour code says as well! I still don't really know how I feel about it though..
There has been some updates on Bertie.
I've sourced a new oil cooler of a (scrapyard) Renault Scenic, slightly smaller but should do the job as well (if not, please respond in capitals and exclamation marks). That's all fitted and not leaking, so happy days.
In the month of standing still it all of a sudden decided to have an LHM leak...
Which is a bit of a pain because the octopus has been replaced (by me) with a brand new one about 4 months ago. And it's not a job I'd like to do again.
The end of 1 of the hoses had a small tear and has now split. I've tried to use a petrol hose, which I had to stretch up before I put it the end of the octopus hose, then a jubilee clip on that to prevent leaking.
It hasn't worked, does anybody have any tips? I might try another Jubilee clip next to it...
Other things that have been done.
* Antenna replaced
* Roof rails repainted satin black
* New ignition cables and spark plugs
* New fuel filter
* New air filter (after it got sprayed with coolant)

You will have to cut off the split bit and join in a piece of new hose somehow. Alternatively using some of that self annealing silicone tape might get you out of trouble but its usually simple to put a join in.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.

I used 3mm bore rubber pipe and some push fit barbed connectors, trouble is with that old pipes will split again even if you trim it back.
