Of the 2 different types of turbo's fitted which is the better unit, the KKK Borg Warner or the Garrett? Is turbo fitment associated with fuel pump fitments CAV or Bosch? Why did Citroen mix and match was it a money saving scheme?

Re: TD turbo questions
Depends what is meant by better I suppose. If you want to tweak the settings for more power then Bosch is offers more adjustments but you can tweak the fuel quantity on the CAV as well.
Not sure about the turbos. I have tried the Garrett but found it difficult to tweak the boost compared with KKK.
I think the Bosch is more tolerant of vegoil than the CAV/Rotodiesel.
From my point of view I would be happy to stay with whatever is actually on the car.
No idea why Citroen had more than one supplier, perhaps it was a question of availability.

The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.
