AX wanted
I`ve seen one or two over the years Marty and had a chat with an owner at a classic car meet a few years ago. The one word I recollect him using most was `scary`-though he loved the car.
Someone the otherside of town has an immaculate quite late registered (1995?) Wartburg Knight in a very lurid shade of green, I`m hoping to catch up with him for a natter one day.
Chatting about cars with motorbike engines and two strokes in general is starting to make me miss my biking days, and I`m now considering whether I can afford to buy a bike. I have a few in mind, the ultimate being a 750 kettle (though I doubt I could afford one) with a GT250/380/550 close behind or a KH250/400 though maybe a GPZ500 or even a Superdream would suffice.
Back on topic I wonder of Mrs Sleepy is now sorted as I believe Mr Sleepy has negotiated a deal with Tim for the automatic BX he had?

Vauxhall apologist.
AX
Where has all th elife gone out of everyone?
The AX is a cracking little car especially the GT version.
Tinny they most certainly are but they have so much character when compared to the F**ds.
Mrs Sleepy if you look on fleabay you will find plenty at bargain prices and there are always some for sale on the AX owners club.
We bought a GT5 a few weeks ago for £55 just as a little project it needs work but they are VERY easy to work on.
Someone has to stick up for the baby citroen
Cheers

AX
Totally different type of car though - If you liked your BX then I think moving to an AX is a strange choice as they are miles apart aside from the rattlestim leech wrote:I bought a AX brand new in 1997, for £5995! I traded my 16TZS for it an regretted it ever since.
Old fords are cool sadly the MK4 escort will never be old enough.
Cheers
