Hi, ive just set about bringing my 16v back to life after a long stint in storage and wondered if anyone had fitted a 306 Gti-6 gearbox in to their BX?
Got the option of a gearbox for the same price as a standard 5x speed so considering it
Thanks

Re: 6x Speed conversion
Let us know how you get on with this. It's something that I've thought about in the past, but I'd only see it as worthwhile if the ratio of 6th gear is higher than 5th in a 5 speed box so that the engine rpm would be brought down at higher speeds.
On a side note; does anyone know if the crown wheel is the same between a 5 speed and 6 speed gearbox?
