Hi there
Picked up a sunroof deflector at the local Cit dealer today. Robbed it off an old BX. I need some help on fitting it.
It has a rubber gasket to provide a seal with the roof. It was held on by three bolts. When I undid the bolts and lifted the deflector off, I saw that the nuts were on clips that fitted back under the front edge of the sunroof aperture.
All the clips were loose - they didn't seem to be secured in any way underneath the roof. I couldn't remove as the car has no electrics, and the mechanical allen-key sunroof opener was jammed thoroughly, even with a good bit of grunt on it.
In any event, it seemed as if the closed sunroof was all that was holding the clips and therefore the deflector in place.
I've thought of silkaflexing the whole thing to the roof, but before I do that, does anyone have any suggestions, bodges or ideas that have worked for them?
Thanks as always
Oscar

The big gold one??? I had a look at that. My dad had one with full leather, 2.2 TD Auto, he wanted me to have that but the box had gone so he gave it to Phil. Nice bloke.
