Veg oil can sap your performance (well the cars) too.
Ran the AX once on damn near 100% SVO when I was well skint, and boy did it struggle (as well as smelling like a chippy). 0 - 60 time was something like a fortnight, compared with the 7 days it usually took.
On the plus side, a full tank cost me just £12. Better off sticking with a mix methinks.

Interesting, we used to produce Acetone where I work but like lots of other things it`s been discontinued now. I think it was also used in the body repair industry as a panel wipe/degreaser. What was Avgas? It rings a bell but I can`t place where from.
