Hope it finds a good home. Good description too, very fair.

I saw an ebay description today saying "Nice Mileage"..... Is it just me or is this a completely POINTLESS comment?

Going into that a bit further it was a 1.6 PETROL mk3 Golf with 107k on the clock!, WHATS NICE ABOUT A HIGH MILEAGE SHAGGED OUT OLD GOLF?????

A quick search today reveals 3 cars whose owners think they have a "NICE MILEAGE!"

Rant over, sorry Billy, carry on with your post!

I thankyou gents. Time will tell I suppose but I`m hoping for a decent price to reflect rarity and condition.
No problem with your comments Ian and I agree with what you said. I had the `pleasure` of driving an old (1990-ish?) Pissat T/D back 40 odd miles for a mate yesterday.

Hey, i wont hear a bad word said about those early 90's Passats! They are utterly bomb proof.

My mate runs a 1990 1.8 Passat Estate with a whopping 250k on the clock, original engine.

But it's got ages yet...

Someone'll bite. I hope. You might have to lower your reserve (assuming you have a few watchers) as that might stimulate renewed interest...
