Right, well, whoever decides to have it, and I would, I really would, but as anyone who has been to my barn knows, I've got hundreds of tonnes of crap to rebuild (and yes I mean actual hundreds of tonnes!), then it may be best PM GAZ direct, cince I foolishly deleted his PM with his number on and he aint got back to me, so I've probably pissed him off?!

XU5 heads are common as muck. I was gonna use an XU9 head, with bigger valves provided they cleared the bores

I'm not sure. I said I would if no one else was going to, purely because it sounded like some people really wanted it, but since then nothing's been said.

The cars still where it was!
Alas, No-one evr confimed anything for sure, well, not with me anyhow, not that it's my car anyway....

The owners a thoroughley nice bloke, and I didn't want to promise removal and such if no-one wanted it.

It may be best if any interested parties PM Gaz (Chris) directley so he knows where he stands.
If someone then needs it stored for a while I can accomodate a Mk1 BX for free for a while in the Stroud area..

Right, well I've just spoken to the throughly nice bloke Chris on the phone, and I'm having the car. Just need to plan transportation and storage now, as obviously Chris probably wants it out of his way.

You still ok to store it Doc? My thinking is I tow it to yours, park it up, then head up the following weekend or so armed with tools and a replacement head of some description, get it running, then return the following weekend or so again to collect it and drive it back. What say you?

All being well, C511 DKK and C520 DKK will be parked up next to each other at the national 8)

All being well anyway. The 19GT is my dads. I bought it about a year ago off ebay, but gave it to him instead of selling it on. It was at the National and Stratford last year. Needs a bit of paint, and some rust treatment but other than that its great. Mechanically its in brilliant condition, and it's a lovely drive.
