I've been contacted today by Citroen UK who are looking for a diesel BX in excellent original condition to be displayed on a stand at a transport show in Ludlow, Shropshire on the 13th May.

The car will then be featured in Diesel Car magazine. All you really need to do is be available on the day with the car to answer any questions and take a couple of people from Diesel Car magazine out for a spin.

If you're interested PM me.

My parents live near there. Shall I go in the TXD estate?

I would really love to do this but I'm committed to another show with the Capri on that day. Plus the TZD has anthracite alloys on it at the moment so it's not totally original. :(

I wasnt implying that mine would be available, some bugger scraped the rear bumper, ive got a dodgy clutch & that lhm weeping strut wont help matters either.....apart from that its sound

Not me either, although we still have a BX diesel auto, I'd hardly describe it as excellent and definately not original.

Nice those Hurricane seats. :D

That a no then, I have a BX and it sounds like diesel from inside with all the roadnoise from the holes in the back of it!

Actually the TZD is quieter than the Gti, probably pulling less revs so less noise, & perhaps better sound proofing on later cars??

For the first time in well over a year since it went. I miss my MK1 it would have been ideal.
