Right, thanks for that mate, I think it all makes sense!!

I'll get the fella's to dip into their oily pockets and stump up some cash and buy a few for the fleet!

I agree mate, when I were a lad I'd listen to CB into the wee small hours, it was hilarious, and more involving than mobiles.

I guess you still need licence's?
I remember them being a fiver a year, but it's probably a fiver a week now?

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

due to de-creasing popularity licences were dropped some years ago.

The f.s.e power boost valve does work. Its like a chip realy it just ups the fuel rate to 1.7.1. If you have a cone type air filter and free flowing exhaust you should see a little gain but not much. The reason i am fitting one is because next year im getting a ported/camed head which is good for around 185 bhp im told. So hopefuly with more air comming in the boost valve will match the fueling (well thats what i think will happen anyway)

Tim,

you can get them from ebay shops. They are not cheap mind you. They cost £79.00 + 5.99 postage. I was lucky i bought mine 2 years ago from ebay (auction) for £30 but never got round to fitting it till now. Just go on to ebay and type in F.S.E Power Boost Valve and loads shoud come up.

Tim, with all due repsect mate, unless you get the engine into really good nick and do as Rob suggests, like free flow exhaust / induction kit / bigger valves maybe, I really think you'd be wasting your money....
