I am rebuilding a head off a 19 N/A diesel, obviously i'll need to remove the valves, therefore i am in the market for a valve spring compressor.
I'm no engineer so complicated multi valve engines will never be an issue, i just want a basic, no frills, hardwearing tool that will last.
Any comments or recomendations would be great

as much as everyone will now complain a lot, got to halfords! buy the BIG spring compressor ,adjustable on both ends, and because it is so much better and adjustable you won't have to buy a second one at a later point in life which is VERY annoying!
Alternatively you can borrow/buy my smaller spring compressor which does the diesel heads just fine.
(ps Machine mart dont do a spring compressor big enough for the 16v )
