Todd's 1985 TRD

I aquired this in May 2007. It had one owner from new until 2005, when he died aged 90. The next owner, despite being a professional mechanic did his best to destroy it through lack of understanding. He cooked the engine and the head gasket then sold it to me as a parts vehicle.
Overall condition is very good and I think the original owner, Wilhelm, would be pleased that it's found a good home again. It was always garaged and Citroen maintained and old Wilhelm only covered 68,000kms in it as well as equipping it with every conceivable accessory!

A BX with added tailblazer. Now that's a rarity.

I'm not completely convinced about the rear window louvre, but it does certainly suit the era of the vehicle, and goes well with the side striping.

Looks extremely tidy too.

At least I know what to call that thing now! There's a picture of it in the '85 Accessoires Citreon Brochure but mine's not original Citroen. There must be a few authentic ones out there lurking in storerooms.

I'm planning on bringing it to UK next summer for annual tea bag collection and CCC meeting. Tim, you bring the Bros cassette and some Grolsch bottletops to fix to our shoes! 8)

Ace, that looks cool as a talking Giraffe man!

Forget the Bros mate, we've got the better the drum and bass from Tim's 2CV at this years National..

I'm thinking a stack of Marshall JCM900 amps and some proper Hardcore rave tunes!

Super retro feel. I bet some people on this forum weren't even born in 1986!

That number plate would suit a knob in a Fiat X19 too :)

Not that you're a knob or ... oh, I'll get me coat ...

Now if you cropped the Corsa out of the shot, you'd swear it was an old photo...perhaps like this?

Well done on getting it road legal!
