Well it's done over 2000 miles now and I have to say, this is the worst most unreliable BX I've ever owned

I've lost count of the number of times it's let me down. Although I have always managed to get it home, or it has managed to get me home, whichever.

No sooner I get one problem sorted, it comes up with another. Now the fuel pump is leaking and a drop link is rattling like a gattling gun.

In short, I hate this thing and can't wait to get my reliable XM back on the road.

So watch out for it on ebay shortly, and don't bid!

I'm dealing with my leaking diesel pump with a piece of cardboard deployed wherever I park, til the parts are available. Sounds as though you've done all the major jobs Ken - drop links next weekend? Might as well keep it as you've put in so much effort? :D

Oh no, not one of them stickers [-X that's the last thing this heap needs.

Just more electrical problems. This thing being an M reg seems to think it's a Xant1@.

You've saved it from the crusher, so well done, surely cant be too much left on it to go wrong?

I'm sure once you've sorted it, it will be a great car, if not for you, then some other lucky person....

Funny thing, today I fixed the long term problem on my bro-in-laws XM. Then tried to fix 3 problems on his Xant1@, needless to say didn't manage any of them. Then my own car wouldn't start.

Come back the XM, all is forgiven
