I suspect the concrete work would make more than the car!!

Surrey man, I cannot condone blatentley lying in a description of a car, the clutch is mullered and you know it.
If someone buys that car on your word, and then (as will happen immediatley) they realise the clutch is FUBAR then they have every right to refuse the car. Given that was misrepresented in the first place.
Also, given that this a public forum it wouldn't require a degree in rocket science to find out you lied in the first place.

Always best to be honest from the outset. Saves upset later.

Nope, the clutch is mullered.
I'll put my pension on that.
The friction plate will be FUBAR, and the pressure plate will be burnt to hell.
I'm a clarevoyant see!!

Its a Fazer crash helmet with in built shades - its a reference to my new two wheeled transport. Somewhere I do have a picture of me wearing a gasmask though....

Having been "nursing" an ailing clutch in my '92 tzd for the last 10,000 miles .........and seen the state/condition of the parts which came out when it was changed, trust me matey ............it'll be fubar'd.
btw ................I dunno how your mechanic comes to charge £350/400 ..........I took my tzd to a local garage and he charged me £195 [it would only have been £190,but I asked him to change the gear oil while he was doing the job] ........the clutch kit was £69.50 [GSF]
