I too am surprised how quickly LHM is said to deteriorate Still, all that pressure, small orifices and long chain crunching pistons, it's not surprising when you sit and think about it. Perhaps a yearly change would not be such a bad compromise.
On a related point, I guess Hydraflush will deteriorate much faster than pukka LHM; another reason perhaps, not to run it on a permanant basis...
