Chris... Rather than scrapping it, put the RD auto on eBay. £1 start, no reserve. It's almost guaranteed to sell, and that way it gets made use of.

sadly, the bx is being picked up in the morning by the scrappers,so the bx will be no more!

Shame. But in the end the fact that nobody on here wanted to - no actually it would be more accurate to say could - take it, does not mean this isn't a good place to come offering BXs to save. But if no-one bites it's your call... just don't feel we 'let you down' Chris.

I thought long and hard about this one as you know me and unloved BXs (you know what I mean by that) but alas it was too far away and needed to much work for me. Chris you did all you could mate and you cant save them all.
