I have to say, that looks really good... I just hope the alloys are coming sooner rather than later
But seriously, well done for saving this one, would have been a real waste to see it scrapped.

You cheeky bugga! Seriously I will have to make do with trims - tidy originals are not available (with a polite acknowledgement to Simon who has my 'old' rattly sprayed grey ones) - until a set of alloys are ready
I did try to improve things by losing the £14.99 cheeepo's and replacing them with slightly IMO better cheepo ones...

I truly believe that once the BX is 'in the blood' it's an addiction hard to lose.
Especially if you have an addictive personality (and don't let anyone tell you such a thing doesn't exist - it does)!

Yes Phillip, I know about an addictive personality. I can say no to most things, but a sleek, well kept BX? Not so easy!
Forgive what must have seemed as sarcasm in the previous post - I just knew you'd have another 16V. Just a matter of when!

I was only joking really... the trims look fine, definitely better than what Citroen put on bottom spec 14s and 16s...

I must say after-market trims are generally frowned upon whatever 'spacialist club' you are part of. I know you were only joking, but for me I am a bit sensitive about trims especially when they are A) not 'origina'l and B) they are 17 years younger than the car
...
Having said that I quite like the 'new' ones - and they'll do fine (once they've aged a bit!) until a decent set of Speedline 5.5|J's are available (work ion progress!)...
