Strut, pipes, flexis, clips, gaiters etc. arrived today. Awaiting second strut, brake components etc and a pair of electric door mirrors. a pair of front foglights plus other goodies, hopefully Monday/Tuesday.

Christmas might appear to have come early - well according to Liz, who said that's all I could expect. (Fine by me :D)

She's a game ol' gal. :D

Back O/T this list gets more impressive the more you read it. I can certainly vouch for the service from Mark too. I urge any who may be wavering to jump in and grab a few items.

On another note, I contacted my local dealership and asked if they had any BX bits on the shelf. The answer was basically 'no'. But when I asked if they might have a strut, they looked on the dealership database and told me that Pentons in Bournemouth had one. A phone call later secured me said strut for under a third of RRP so even if what you want isn't on the list you might as well try that route.

Parts collected today from Shaws and thanks again to Mark, managed to obtain a uber rare Mk1 speedo cable for the GT for £5 so am happy as larry :D , I picked up Luke aka Toddman enroute and on the way back we called in at Bullwinkles garage which was until a few years ago small Citroen dealer which luke uses regularly

Since then he specialises in citroens and owns a P1 valver himself, Luke said its worth popping as he normally has in stock alot of new and used hard to find BX bits. What I didnt expect to find is a BX "graveyard" round the back of the premises  , where I counted at least 20 Bxs in various states of repair, some savebale and some totalled f*cked! Also sinking into the grass was a very pickled early GS, various Xantias (inc a lovely VSX TD with leather and a exclusive) and a few AX and Xsaras.

Luke must think Ive lost my marbles as I was there for half an hour druliing over these old hulks and taking photos! but it was worthwile as I picke dup a complete sunroof deflector for £10 8)

Anyway Phillip Bulwinks (proprietor) is happy to sell of any bits you may need on 01507 578252 or philip@bullwinkles.eclipse.co.uk, they are located in Horncastle in Lincolnshire

Tim, what you may not have realised is that the yard at Bullwinkles was cleared out a few years ago! At one point there were several early CXs, more GSs, 2CVs, etc. Having got rid of those, it looks as though the space has been taken over by BXs!

Some of the cars have been there an awful long time! But do look saveable. Also spotted was the BX estate with the option of a tree for an engine!

Sad that none of these will see the road again, the light blue 19TXD with its back end up in the air had lovely straight bodywork and most of the cars were rust free on top!

No Gti 8v's Mk1s or TZD's around though, but lots of 19D's including ex taxis with HUGE mileages.

The 16v maybe for sale, hes owned it along time, has done 92k and its all original but as is common with silver bxs the laquers coming off.

Updated list now available. I've discovered a square air filter casing, and some late GTi (not 16V) air hoses in stock, as well as one or two other oddments. Email me for the latest list:
