Hi,
I'm looking for a rear axle off a BX 4x4. Would consider a complete car if it's easier.
I'm based in Gloucester but I have a recovery truck so collection is no problem.
Hoping someone might have something lying around where the transfer box has gone bang!
Thanks
Mike

Why do you need the axle; what has broken on yours?
Remember some of the parts are shared on the Peugeot 405.
If you’re really stuck, then you can use the basic axle from a 2WD car & do some cutting & welding to make it suitable for the 4x4, or repair yours with bits cut from one. Once the arms, diff & hydraulics are out of the way, it doesn’t look much different from a 2WD axle.
Hope that helps.

Re: 4x4 rear axle (or complete car) wanted
Hi David. Thanks for the reply. I've got a slightly mad project which I'm making RWD I don't have an old 4x4 axle to play with. I have a few 2wd axles and I have a BX 4x4 diff, but I'd still need trailing arms, driveshafts, diff cradle, along with modifying the beam. Ideally I'm looking for a car where the transfer box has blown up but the axle is ok. Cheers

Good luck with the project.
You may have difficulty sourcing 4x4 parts.
There’s a project that’s been mentioned about using the front struts on the rear of the BX, for 4 wheel steering IIRC. If you can’t find anything else, then you could always really modify the car & go down that route, or maybe weld something to keep the hubs straight if you don’t want 4WS.The hubs are all the same, so you’d just need longer shafts. Surely a driveshaft specialist could help with them & the prop shaft. The axle would just need a bit of welding to hold the rear diff. You’d need to modify the fuel tank too.
