Apologies if this is up already. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw this. What a cracker!

Look where it is too!

That is a beaut! I won't open bidding this early, but I will be watching it closely. Thanks Mark!

This has got to be one of the most desirable BXs to come up for a while. And with the national 25th cele's coming up - an ideal show car!

Just check out that condition. Looks superb. Love the dash - and it's even got rear headrests!

That is an absolute cracker! I'm familiar with the colour, but the condition looks fantastic. Possibly the tidiest mk1 I've clapped eyes on! Those early TRS seats have fabric which is stupidly thin, and they're always ripped around the base of the seat sqaubs by now....yet that isn't!

I would buy that. Even with the auto gearbox!

My word that's a tidy mk1. It doesn't look like it's ever been used!

Garaged every night from new.... that's got to be the most corrosion-free BX you'll find.

it's a lovely car alright.

I'm a bit surprised by the seats though, I thought being a TRS it would have had the tweed seats, these look to be those delightful bri-nylon things :x

I had a MK1 DTR which had tweeded seats, but no sunroof.

It seems the only thing it's short of is a correct radio.

I know it's petrol, old and auto, but I think anyone who fancies this is going to have to dig quite deep. But if you want a MK1 auto, this is probably your best chance.

Agreed I expect it will fetch over £500.

I'm hoping to go view the car on Wednesday, and I'll post a report. If anyone has any areas I should pay attention to, let me know.

I'll bid up to probably 400ish and I'm inclined to agree with you guys - it will probably go beyond that.

If it does, I'll post on here and let you know at the point that I give up bidding.

Stuart I would try and have a deal with the seller there and then! See if you can "bag it". Then find a garage!

Agreed - the listing does say it's advertised locally and he reserves the right to pull the auction at any time... 8)
