Last night my Activa started riding really roughly. On investigation I found it right down at the front. No worries, just the front height corrector link off.
Well, yes it was, I could see it dangling down. Simple, pop it back on.
No, not for me The balljoint has come away from the arm on the height corrector itself
So, it's a height corrector out job. It looks as if the ball was riveted on to a plate and the rivet appears to have pulled out. I'm wondering how successful a repair might be here. Anyone else suffered the same problem?
Also, how easy/hard is it to get the front height corrector out? On the face of it, it does not look exactly simple

Just had mine replaced. Ouch!
Had Citroen Services in Glasgow check the ride height & when they tried to adjust the front up it either went too high or too low, apparently indicating it needs replacement (?).
Ayway, job done. £97 + £12 for the bracket + labour + VAT.
Can't help on how easy/hard a job it is. I have to get others to do the work for me as I don't have the time or the garage space any more.
