Hello! Thought I'd join here as I may have questions, being a 1st time BX owner.
I've wanted a BX Break for many years and now's the right time - found Angela on FB Marketplace last month. I've since put a lot of work into her, including:
Timing belt kit
All new brakes
LHM swap
New main accumulator
Many hoses changed
Engine/gearbox oil
Powdercoated Berlingo steelies with new tyres
Minor rust repairs
Digital temp gauge
Amongst others!
I have 6000 miles of European travel planned, beginning early June. Can't wait!

Top BXing that! I am a fan of a few modern, tasteful upgrades myself. Your trip sounds great, what sort of places are you visiting? Whilst it'll be no speed chariot you'll get great mpg's on the long haul.
We're off on a Provence and Rhone tour at the end of June, decided to go in the Volvo 740 estate rather than BX GT - it has longer legs and a huge boot, although a fair bit more thirsty, 30 mpg should just about be achievable...
