Although I was only there for two days and a night, it was a lovely experience, gorgeous weather, beautiful cars and fantastic company! It was very nice to see some faces again, and to meet some new ones. Shame I couldn't attend the whole thing.

The Astra didn't enjoy it quite so much, it smokes now at above 5000 rpm, the alternator bearings are now much noisier than usual and there is a worrying wobble at the back end above 60mph, feels like the back end is rocking from side to side rhythmically - if I let go of the steering wheel it turned left then right again repeatedly about half an inch all by itself... It may be on ebay next week , we shall see.

Great to see you mate, glad you got home okish! Think 800 miles of hard drivings taken its toll on the Gastra?
