I'll have you know Ive never driven any car into a kerb! Although I had a near miss with a drainage ditch on saturday while you were cooking dinner that I didn't tell you about.stuart wrote:Oh... and you're really not meant to kerb them!

i went and had a look at that BX a couple of weeks ago, i think it had something like 120/130.000 miles on clock, was tidyish, there were some service stamps,
although on starting it up and having it running for 10 mins the suspension hadnt lifted an inch, nor would it lift or even lower itself, the car had been parked over a muddy puddle, so i walked away.

Welcome to the club, thats a shame about the car. This TZD and the Silver one that Boxwolf went to look at came up at the same time and both looked very nice but both cars seem to have problems despite their nice looks on the pictures.marknsu65 wrote:new member here

Those are good photos on pistonheads, if you notice in no. 6 there are quite a few red lights showing! The engine is running, and is the temperature gauge showing a reading? The stop light is lit, the handbrake one below it, and then two below that, is that the coolant level? And there is another red light to the left, what is that one? I can't remember, it has been several years since my last BX! I am getting the urge though...
(But not for this car!)

TZD on Ebay/autotrader
Hi . Did the 75 miles to look at the French Flyer only to find out it wasnt that good. There is rust at the door bottom and front wing bottom, both driversfront side. The mileage is 133000 and not 100000 as told. The boot panel is smashed between the lights and the bonnet paintwork has plenty of crazing on it.To say I was disapointed was an understatement.Hope this helps.
