Good work Ken McNewbold! Looks as though the weather was lovely - I thought the sun never came out in Scotland. Tidy looking example too.

Phil - If that Hibernian route's a hexagon too then I'm a dodecahedron.

It's more like a Parallelogram, or perhaps "Parallel 'o wee dram".

On the same note, can I recommend the rather more modest "Route du Cidre" in Calvados, Normandy to anyone who doesn't have to drive it. A mere 40km but full of temptation and boot-filling possibilities.

Mechanically I don't think so, however it does have rust round the windscreen

the screen will have to come out and lets see how bad it is.

The rest of the car is in excellent condition obviously someone has fitted a new screen at some point and damaged the paintwork getting the old one out. It may even need some specialist welding. But because the rest of it is so good it will most likely get done

Where else could I get one of these with only 63k on the clock free

That cars certainly been from one end of the country to the other. "CV" is truro registered so it would have been down here from new!

Good spot Rob, it still has it's Truro number plates on. It was owned by a guy who lived there until he died about 2 years ago, the car was then passed on to his sister-in-law in Scotland.

Just another add-on, it's last MOT was done in London

Now all cleaned up, rusty bits taken care of, new windscreen fitted and ready to do the job it was designed for.

there's still a few bits to do, but they can wait until it gets a bit warmer.

Thats looking ace Ken, it was quite sad looking last time i saw the old gal. Can't remember if i've ever been in a diesel auto (possibly your mums?), looking forward to catching up with you.
