If it's in the condition described then there's nothing wrong with the price, most cars loose that amount the minuit you drive them out of the showroom and remember BX prices are on the way up so don't threat about the price. Just enjoy the car and the adventure.

Yes will do thanks. It should be a good one. Hes owned it 13 years. Plus he knows what hes doing with them. Being a citroen. Machanic Its not like i Gave my money. To a guy with a normal gauarge or some bloke off the streeet

If you're really worried why not ask your insurance company about recovery? Maybe they can do you a days cover, or you could take someone with you who already as a policy...

I've bought a BX off of Medway Citroen before (swapped it for a 2CV in fact) and Phillipe offered to replace the radius bearings for half price when they started to go. Not a perfect outcome but fair enough seeing as there wasn't any warranty with the car.

I use them for any major repairs too.

Hopefully someone will show Phillipe this post and I'll get a discount when my creaky front suspension strut finally gives out
