Ok, I understand that they wanted to do something about the headlights, but christ on a bike, not that! The rear lights are similarly ghastly...
It looks like a C5's ugly sister...Bertone would have disavowed the car, no doubt.
I can't see the C-pillars very clearly for some reason, but I don't see how the 'band of light' could be improved by blocking some of it in...
I wonder if there were any interior changes, or to the mechanics? It's very interesting to see (and thanks for the link - I'd somehow missed it before..) but styling wise S1's always appeal to me more than the later cars, which seem watered-down to appease Joe Public.
I loved the look of my S1 XM, with its 'proper' Citroen dash and single-spoke wheel, not to mention the much nicer rear spoiler (the S2 would have looked nicer with no spoiler rather than the sorry item they came up with...)
