recovering a bx

i have in the past slide a length of scafold tube through the two rear tow eye's then sat it on two high axle stands with deep V shape tops,

Either have the car on soft ground and dig a jack in under it, or drive / push the car onto some wood blocks to gain enough height to get the trolley under is what I always do, or use the forklift truck if I'm up the yeard.

i use a very sturdy geared scissor jack with a small block of wood to get enough clearance for a trolley jack,

One trick I use to raise the car up from totally flat, to enable a trolley jack to get under.

Where the chassis members meet the front lower panel underneath, .there’s a square-ish recess at the front.

Place a cut piece of wood/ply wood, into the chassis section.
The original jack or bottle jack is tilted, then into an upright position onto the wood.
Should work on normal flat ground..
