P107? A what now? Pictures?
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

P107 is one of the more recent prototypes they made. Carbon fibre body again, but with supercharged 4.6 QOHC V8 and scissor doors. It\'s in bits at the mo, it\'s in camoflauge paint from its testing session at Brunty. Autocar took snap shots of it thinking it was the new Espirit!
It came to us nearly complete but not bolted together. Company made one or two further prototypes after it and cannibilised some parts from it to make them. We\'ve got no listing of what parts they were so are having to work it out/make stuff fit! Should be look when finished but it\'s a bit ugly like the R45. Cool though! I\'ll get a pic when I\'m in next.

Back on topic- I think the 16V is a rare car.

Last year I did not seen another one anywhere except for those at CCC events.

Come to think of it, I have only seen about a dozen BXs in all of 2010 except at car events again.

I see more Ferraris than BXs.

You're right, compared to many other cars, the BX is rare, but then again when was the last time you saw a Maestro, a Volvo 200 series or a mk 1 or 2 Astra? About the only similar sized car of the period I can think of that I see much more often than any of the above is a mk 3 or 4 Escort.

I wouldn't even say that the 16v is the rarest BX. Of course there are the models that were always rare like the 4x4's and the various special editions, but because of their popularity, the 16v, along with the 8v GTi and the turbo diesels probably have a much better survival rate than many other models. for example, I believe mine was the only 14 at Stratford last year, while there were at least 2 valvers, and apart from Stratford, I can't remember the last time I saw a 16. Mk 1's of any type are also rare as fans of any particular model tend to end up buying later models as their cars wear out, then keep those going if they don't like watever finally replaced them.

Haha! The topic was more about the Spectre, we know how rare the BX 16v is in the UK....we\'ve got the numbers. 68 apparently taxed, 73 SORN wasn\'t it?
