I've had a postcard.... From Robert Chinnery about this car, he still has it and wants to sell it. Any takers?

I think he needs educating to what its worth, he is a Citroen enthusiast so the right home is important.

It needs an interior I believe.

Yup the very same, I think he had a nasty heart attack last year so is downsizing.

Have seen the pics, think its probably too nice (read too expensive) for me at the moment.

What would anyone say that the 14RE is worth? Im assuming its got no tax an test?

Its not worth much, I dont wish to keep working the "rare" word but this is a A plate 14RE in beige, which is as early BX as you can get with the suitcase engine and a brown interior!

It needs a rear bumper (I know a man who has one), wheeltrims (I know a man) and the seats need sorting as I think the have disintrigrated.

Value? its not worth much to anyone who doesnt like BX's, but I am told its structually and mechanically sound and it is 30 years old now and is the only 14RE MK1 I know of.

I would offer £300 and see what he says.
