Thought it was Green King.
I'm more of a Cumberland Ale sort of chap
Very strange day Saturday - spend the best part of an hour in a queue at the post office and was a couple of people from the front only to be told they had to close and couldn't accept any more customers - couldn't accept any parcels because they couldn't leave them in the post office over the weekend
So I went next door to Waitrose to use their cash machine - got to the point where it had just returned my card and said "your request is being dealt with" - just before the machine crashed

so I went outside and back to the post office to use their machine - and that had crashed too

again.
So driving to the motor bits shop to check out bulbs for clocks I was somewhat less than hopeful - the day didn't seem to be running in my favour.
It was ok though
Last time I bought bulbs for the clock I'm not sure whether I looked up which bulb it should be or just followed the colour code of the existing bulb which was orange.
I found 3 bulbs that fit - an orange one which I think is probably the correct one and is 1 watt, a beige one that is 1.5 watt, and a green one which is 2 watt.
I found the 1 watt to give enough light but I'll use the others to check on light output and any excess heat that may become a problem in the housing.
Next thing I need to do is to build a box - to put the clock and the light meter in to check the amount of light generated by each bulb and then duplicate that with LEDs.
