Is this a forum members car ?
If so Good luck with the sale this time !

Yes Andy, you're absolutely right, but the only time you really need power steering is when heaving like a weightlifter to get full lock when parallel parking. I haven't yet summoned the courage to attempt the 30mph manouevre into a 15-foot gap, so I tend to look for parking slots that are easier to drive into with less extreme steering wheel movements.Mothman wrote:I cant see the problem with motors with no power steering, bit heavy when slow but not a problem when on full chat. Its something you get used to and remember, all motors were like this once. Yaz all getting soft!!
I agree. I've got no power steering and no satnav (apart from the fact that my left arm aches all the time and I'm always getting lost); look at this face. Is it bovvered? (that would be 'no').Mothman wrote: Yaz all getting soft!!
I always view navigational errors as a bit of an adventure which is part of the rich tapestry of life. If the adventure is disappointing, unpleasant or dangerous, it's life's way of reminding you not to make that particular mistake again. It's also essential feedback to reinforce the fact you are part of a real world, rather than the virtual one. I'd be tempted to say the same argument could be applied to non-PAS cars, but that would be dangerously Luddite.Paul296 wrote:my left arm aches all the time and I'm always getting lost.
