Screen botch. Get glass epoxy glue and put a spot of the glue on the clean end of the crack run. This will hold it against a certain amount of movement. The screen is scrap anyway but this will extend use. Done it on several bangers with total success.

Where in Kerry was it if you don't mind me asking?

The lovely rare colour, opera windows, alloys and spoiler do it for me as well - although I am very shallow. :) I'd pay 300 quid for it if it's as good as it looks in the pics.
 Jesus, you got a bargain there! €350 is exactly what I paid for my TZD "a rattly and tired old diesel" just over a year ago lol!

Also, are you going to Clonmel to the All-Ireland rally this year?

Hey Kieran,

i actually gave him 375 on the condition i do it up and give him first refusal if i ever want to sell it, but it needs ALOT of work doing! He's had the roof, bonnet and bumpers sprayed so it looks nice. It will need a cambelt, waterpump, all fluids changing, ABS sorting, accumulator, spheres, etc etc, Octopus?? My nice new re-conned struts i have on the 16TZS. It's done 133k miles so i would perhaps envisage valve stem seals at some stage. The recovery company has kindly suggested a couple of places i might get the welding done down that way, as it will probably be cheaper than in Dublin.

I hope to be making some of the Ireland rally for sure! I'd have to get my act together for it to be in this car though. Could be a good deadline. We'll see when i get it here.

You know i test drove your car at WHM, very solid - do you know the history, some guy that moved to New Zealand was it? it was pretty well sorted when you got it i think.

Hi Max, it would be nice to see the the 19TRS Auto at the rally alright, it really does look like a lovely car!

Yeah I remeber you saying before that you had driven it. It did come in a really good condition and to be honest, besides a re-spray (and new front spheres recently) I've not done anything too it. The next job is to whip out the strut tops and threat them for rust. Its in pretty good condition though. It actually just failed the NCT there on Friday - rear brake imbalance, possibly a ceased caliper and hopefully nothing too serious...

Yes David Musk (djm666) and his father rebuilt the car fully and he had planned to take it to New Zealand but the car wasn't allowed in because of emissions. So he sold it to WHM. He found out afterwards that he actually could have got it in, but that's the way it goes.

Anyway, best of luck with the 19TRS, hope to meet you at the rally :)
