A bit of welding anyone?

Tell us about BXs you have spotted on the road, or BXs/parts spotted for sale including eBay finds.

Call me sheltered but how do you get rust on a BX at the top of the windscreen and on the sill????
Bring it to England, where we specialise in killing cars off by keeping them moist, covered on the underside in damp mud, and then once a year giving them a good bath of rocksalt soloution. Why do you think all the 60's and 70's stuff is so rare over here (and we invented it).
My own car is showing small amounts of surface rusting on the sills, A pillars and inner wings.
I would agree with Tom though - I think you will find better cars out there for less or similar money. In 20 years time when the BX is more scarce than it is now, then maybe it would be worthwhile spending the £ on - but for now a trip to eBay or Loot will find a better example.
Mind you - in 20 years we will have the banger brigade after ours to race and trash

Well, some mug paid £242 for it! That is the value of an MOT, which is why some unscrupulous types have it done every six months... I've given away better cars than that on at least three occasions (But it won't be happening again!)

Well I'm pleased it went. I like honest cars like that.
