I have fitted a r/c device to my TGD - it was an aftermarket item I bought on ebay - woorks bloomin well and I paid about £20 the lot. It has the AUDIesq (swearing - sorry) key fob with retractable/flip out key, with lock+hazard once/unlock+hazard thrice and a 'car finder' button that will flash the hazards for about 30 seconds. It all fits behind the central rear 'bin' just beside the handbrake - although I haven't bothered wiring the hazards up.
I thought you boyz might consider genuine BX plips only but incase some of you aint too fussy, this is an excellent piece of kit at a fair price.
If anyone is interested I'll try to find it on ebay. It does require cutting 2 (maybe 4 wires - can't remember now) and crimping a few terminals but its a piece of cake and works a treat!!!!
