The lune wants £100 for the engine AND you to remove it yourself!

Not surprising he didnt sell the whole car!

I suppose a ton for the motor isn't too bad and it sounds like you could hear it or try it out first too. Removing it yourself seems silly though, if he's breaking it then he should take it out if you ask me. I kinda get the feeling this one is going to get crushed/taken away by a scrappy once a few bits have gone of it which'd be a shame but if he's no realistic then it'll have been a waste of his time and money.

Leave him too it then, if he wants to behave like that. He wanted £300 for a non moted car, hes sold the engine for £99 so thats £200 short and car without a engine thatw orth nowt, I would ave given £100 for it as it was but now it will get scrapped and the 205s have got another BX engine!

I'll be making sure that i wont be buying any spares, mind u probably have to remove them yourself anyway.... his car i guess, so his choice, just a shame to scrap a perfectly good car.....

but was it that good ???

he could have sold the whole car for twice the money he got for the motor (the car will turn up again)

but he sells the motor, scraps the rest and then slaggs us lot

Sounds like a complete idiot to me. I hope he ends up with a shell and various other parts he can't shift. Undoubtably he'll be cracking on he' sold loads of parts off it and made a fortune out of it but I'd take that with a pinch of salt. I wouldn't lose any sleep over him breaking it, there's plenty more out there and it's his car and his choice.
Ironically he'd have probably sold the whole car or a fair chunk of it's parts had he registered on here, but instead he opted to put stupidly high prices on stuff. Good luck to the fella!
