We have a Diesel auto here and despite what other on here think, I think it's a great little car and an absolute pleasure to drive.

It is fitted with a towbar but to be honest I don't think I'd want to tow anything bigger than a small trailer with it. Simply not powerful enough.

Dont get me wrong Ken, theres nowt that wrong with diesel auto's, they do a job.
But when you're used to a stooooooooopidly tuned TD and a valver with the best engine of any valver anywhere (Yes I'm being arrogant, but I dont care, cos it is) then a 19D auto just seems like it has an anchor thrown out the back all the time.

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I'm not a speed demon like the good doctor, but I found my RD Auto too slow. I was forever causing queues on the hills around Brighton... there was a particular hill near my old place which it could only take at walking pace.

On motorways it would eventually get to 70 and cruise there.

I never dared overtake on A-roads in it.

I've been in touch with the seller and she's now booked it in for MOT. At least it might find a home.

Not really clear whether it has mot now or not. It did fail on a few very minor issues, worst of which was a tyre :!:

Shame thats so far away, doesn't sound all that bad at all, I reckon someone who could do all that work themselves could have a bit of a bargain, nice colour, trailblazer and pretty straight as well!
