£50 thanks very much, what about the £20 in diesel to fetch it and the battery I fitted! It owes me about £120 all told. Still a bargain tho at £50, the autobox alone is worth far more than that!

    Good work Ken, though it`d have to be £20 because I`d need the rest to cover my fuel costs plus transport down there plus hire of trade plates or recovery truck

Hire as in borrow, though tbh that particular avenue is closed now I`m very sad to report

I was joking-that`s what the exclamation mark was for. However I can`t believe the car owes you £120: you`re not going to get your fuel costs back from collecting it and you`ve had £150`s worth of interior and a good £50`s worth of alloys, not including the fact you can keep the new battery you bought for it, all from a car that cost £75. Good luck scrapping it.

Car didnt have alloys (just the wider steel ones with rather worn tyres) Cavmad. The car was on ebay beforehand but noone bid on it so I took the opportunity to put in a bid for it. It now has a fairly new battery from my TZD went on it to make it mobile which cost me about £50 sometime ago hence where I get my price. I cant see what I paid for it being important, its what I want for it thats not unreasonable. I have spent £100s on my other cars and always lost out on them so im just trying to break even on this one which I think is entrily reasonable.

How much would you pay for 2 new 165/70s approx £30 each maybe? and this car has 2 almost brand new tyres, plus 2 good ones, a spare and a jack etc etc.

The local breakers will take the car and give me something for it as its a diesel and a auto to boot, but I would rather it go to a some use to someone in the club but i cant afford to give it away. Im not tight but its christmas and I could do with the extra money!!
