im thinking £1500 for the 16V its worth it with that miles and how tidy it is, where would you find anotherone that pretty?

£1500 aint much money these days is it!

I wish I had that much spare (or most of it)... I would have gone for it. But, hopefully, for that money it's gone to someone who cares. Maybe someone reading this???

Hi All it was I who was the crazy man who paid £1280 for the car. I live up in Glasgow so drove down to collect car after auction. Car has its faults(who doesnt). Intend on restoring car to formal glory and totally standard. Hope to meet some of you guys at french car show. Target date for completed program. Anybody got Black 16v G251RUS out there, car was my first love and hope its survived. Traded it in for a activa xantia and missed it instanly. Cheers guys

Thanks all. hope I can help anybody and get help when I need it most. I am looking to purchase a original tail pipe with oval surround but having no joy. Car looks like it had tzd tail pipe at present. any suggestions gratefully accepted.
