This is one thing about the BXagon that doesn't worry me. If I'm going to break down in a BX, I'd rather do it in France than in England.

Don't forget, I spent six months over there with a CX maintaining it at the local main dealer!

I'm not too worried about the mechanical issues either - 2 years ago I suffered alternator failure whilst on holiday in France. Can you imagine the response you'd get in you went into a main dealer over here and asked for a high output alternator for a turbodiesel BX with air conditioning, 10 minutes before they close on a Friday evening? Even worse that I didn't have my tools with me, so had to ask them if they could fit it...
Through the means of sign language and lots of pointing, I discovered they had it on the shelf and managed to book it in for 9:00 Saturday morning. They even waived the labour costs from the bill, mind you that brought it down to 'only' £250!
