Defnately a BX but I'm 99% sure thats Nissan Sunny/Pulsar headlights, indicators and bonnet with a custom grill, either way it looks ruddy awful.

edit: just look at some pictures of pulsars and I'm completely wrong, so I'm stumped now.

And Max you are right the Maestro did have the talking computer, not sure which models exactly but it was at least an option on the MG 1600 version as my dad had a black one (Naturally his CB radio call sign was night rider). The mk1 Renault 25 V6 also had it as well. The maestro had a nice womans voice but the Renault was a very british bloke with quite an aggressive voice, such like you get in sat navs.

i remember when i was a kid some boasting of a talking computer on a regular common garden family car - 1st of its kind, and i think it was in the Maestro?

Any Maestro nerds out there?
Owned a couple in the past myself. That BX looks more Italian looking to me, like it's tried to copy an old Alfa or something.

talking computer

Post by chriscarterstevens »

the first car i owned with a talking computer was a 1996 renault safrane 3.0 v6.

it was absolutely fantastic and voiced over by a lovely, british sounding computer lady.

believe it or not, it actually worked :!:
