Thanks for the speedy responses.

Wow £80 plus the part sounds very reasonable! Could be worth the 4 hour round trip if it's an option.

And the Hitchen shout is also very do-able. I'll do a bit more research and let you know what I decide..

Is the octopus easy to come by if I want to purchase one? I spoke to GSF in Watford a few weeks ago and the fellow I spoke to didn't have a clue what I was talking about and then claimed that they definitely didn't sell them.
