NOW SOLD?
I take it this has now sold as the seller has now changed the advert to:
CITROEN XM VSX TURBO DIESEL AUTO 1997 SILVER GENUINE 74000 MILES GREAT CONDITION
No doubt in an uncanny way of just paying for one advert whilst selling 2 cars?

Sorry most of you have got it wrong... It went off e-bay (bought by a dealer), was sold to another dealer who was contracted to supply a car to a buyer, but the buyer renaged mid sale and bought a 16v. I was appraised of what was going on and finished up doing a deal with my C1 in it. There is no stuffed gear box it is mint with 25,800 miles on it - 800 are mine. The tyres when on e-bay were the correct brochure spec ORIGINAL 1991 MXL tyres (now changed by me) and kept for show purposes. The car was probably bought direct from Citroen UK in Slough The e-bay advert was remarkably truthful. If there was any noise in 5th it is not there since a gearbox oil change. There is and was no rust either, it is mint and having only such cars in my garage I am delighted.(See also thread about blown fuse on central locking) You will see my Birotor and Group 2 GS 1220 at Harrogate and can judge my standards then.
1974 GS Birotor, 1972 GS 1220 FIA Gp 2, 1992 BX 16 TGS, 1951 Velo-Solex, 1953 NSU Max 250, 1972 Honda ST50, Daughter has 1990 BX14 TGE
Previously owned include 1983 BX14RE Leader, Porsche 924, 1972 Porsche 911T, 1973 Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 (FIA Group 4), 1974 Porsche Carrera RS 3.0 (FIA Group 4 ex Le Mans), 1969 911 T/R (FIA Group 3 ex Le Mans), 1981 Porsche Group B 3.3 litre World Endurance Championship, 1991 Footwork Arrows Porsche Formula 1 (ex Alboreto & Caffi),
The obvious next statement is; We don't want to wait until Harrogate, pictures please

Three things:(1) As I am taking my Birotor and the 1220 Gp 2 rally GS to Harrogate I cant manage the BX as well; at 76 I have to take things a bit easy and I am going to and from Harrogate with a friend and his wife in their camper with the Birotor on a trailer and the GS is going from Chevronics with other cars on a transporter, So regret no BX until next BX gathering. (2) What did I pay for the BX? Inextricably tied into a complicated deal involving my 06 C1, a full service and delivery from "up North" and some services rendered.... (3) Photos: This will really piss you off! Although I ran the very first Ministry of Defence computerised defect gathering system for Polaris (the Trident predecessor) I cannot understand the up loading instructions for the forum. If we wait about a week until my son gets back from Mongolia (I AM NOT JOKING! - he is touring as part of the production team with a Bristol pop group) I will get him to show me! In my day we used an IBM main frame computor in London and foto handling is proving the one thing on PC I have an issue with... On which happy note I shall leave you!
